Two products, one execution layer

Checkout for invoices. Sponsorship for gas.

Do not confuse wallet-level gasless with merchant-side settlement. The buyer’s transfer is one job. Sweeping and reconciling your deposit address is another.

Hosted USDT checkout

Give every order a unique USDT address. After payment, Pontoon provisions resources, sweeps merchant net, and sends a signed webhook.

  • Per-order addresses with underpaid and expired states
  • Bridge fee on invoice value; fuel at live cost
  • One interface for BSC, Tron, and TON

Shared-pool sponsorship

When an address you control has no TRX, BNB, or TON, one API call quotes, debits your prepaid balance, and delivers the resource.

  • Fully isolated merchant balances
  • Resource cost and service revenue separated
  • Idempotent execution with onchain proof

From intent to treasury

Accept USDT in three steps

01

Create an intent

Send order ID, amount, chain, and treasury. Get a unique USDT address and expiry.

02

Buyer sends USDT

They send the exact amount from an exchange or wallet. They do not rent Energy from you or pre-fund your account.

03

Paid, swept, reconciled

A signed webhook fires on paid. Pontoon provisions resources and sweeps net to treasury, with bridge fee and fuel itemized.

Building a wallet or Mini App that must top up user gas? Use the sponsorship API — Checkout is not required.

Transparent pricing

Bridge fee on the invoice. Fuel billed as fuel.

Funding is not platform revenue. Checkout does not charge 15 bps of gas. Sponsorship does not take a cut of invoice GMV.

Frequently asked questions

How checkout, sponsorship, and fees split

What is Pontoon?

Multichain payment infrastructure for merchants: hosted USDT checkout (per-order address, webhook, sweep) and gas sponsorship on Tron Energy, BSC, and TON. Both products share one prepaid balance and execution layer.

Do buyers need TRX, BNB, or TON?

For checkout: an exchange withdrawal already pays network fees. A wallet-to-address transfer is paid by the sender’s wallet. You pay Energy/gas to sweep the deposit address. Wallet-level gasless (for example GasFree) does not replace merchant-side settlement. The sponsorship API tops up addresses you control.

How are fees charged?

Checkout: 0.25% bridge fee, $0.08 minimum, plus live resource cost. Sponsorship: live resource cost + $0.02 + 10% markup, and a platform fee of 15 bps of resource cost floored at $0.05. Funding is not platform revenue.

How do I integrate?

Create an API key, then POST /api/v1/intents for checkout or POST /api/v1/sponsor for gas. AI tools can discover read-only capabilities at /mcp.

Don’t let the next USDT payment stall on Energy or reconciliation.

Create an API key and verify with one real invoice or one sponsorship.
